Directions of Use
Directions of Use
- Face Mask / Face Pack: In a non-metallic bowl, mix 1 tsp (~3 g) orange peel powder for face with 2 tsp (~10 mL) yoghurt or water to a smooth paste. Spread a thin
layer on clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave 10–15 minutes (5 minutes if very sensitive); do not let it dry completely. Rinse with lukewarm water. Use immediately; do not store paste. This is an orange peel powder for face mask (face pack). Use 1–2 times per week.
- Gentle Scrub: Mix ½ tsp (1–2 g) exfoliating orange peel powder with your cleanser or a few drops of facial oil/aloe gel to make a soft slurry. Massage very lightly over damp skin in small circles for 30–60 seconds, avoiding the eye area; rinse well. Ideal as a weekly orange powder for face scrub between masks.
- Traditional Ubtan: Stir 1 tsp orange peel powder for ubtan with 1 tsp gram flour (besan) and enough water or rose water to form a spreadable paste. For oily skin, keep it light and rinse after 3–5 minutes; for dry skin, add a few drops of oil or a yogurt alternative and leave 5–7 minutes. Rinse and pat dry—your adaptable face pack powder for a quick at-home ritual.
- Adjust for oily or dry skin as needed. Always patch-test 24 hours before first use.

FAQ's - Orange Peel Powder - EU Pack
What does Orange Peel Powder do for skin (and scalp)?
It helps lift excess oil and polish away surface dullness, so skin looks clearer and more even. On the scalp, it refreshes roots and reduces buildup without heavy surfactants. Expect a fresh, low-foaming cleanse and a smoother feel.
Is it suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin?
Often, yes—many sensitive or breakout-prone users tolerate it well. Because citrus can feel a bit “active,” start slow, do a quick patch test, and avoid broken or freshly irritated skin. Keep your usual daytime SPF routine, as gentle exfoliation can make skin more sun-reactive.
What can I pair Orange Peel Powder with, and why?
- For oily or congested areas, pair with Multani Mitti for extra clarity.
- For balance and slip, add Aloe or Fenugreek.
- For a softer, calming feel, blend with Rose or Sandalwood.
- Keep blends simple at first and adjust based on how your skin/scalp feels.
How often should I use an orange peel powder face mask?
It’s best not to use an orange peel powder mask every day – using it about 2–3 times per week is plenty. Overusing it can potentially dry out or irritate your skin, so giving your skin rest days helps avoid rashes or sensitivity from excess use. Also, like many citrus-based skincare ingredients, orange peel can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, so be sure to rinse it off thoroughly and wear sunscreen if you’ll be out in the sun after a mask.
